## About

White Pine Structures is a specialty builder of portable structures and detached buildings (not a general contractor). Every structure is handcrafted by skilled Amish craftsmen at our Parkesburg, PA facility using residential-grade materials: LP SmartSide engineered wood siding (50-year warranty), 30-year architectural shingles, pressure-treated foundations, and SilverTech radiant barrier. We've built over 5,000 structures since 1988.

- **Mini Barn** — Gambrel (barn-style) roof, most affordable option. Sizes 6×8 to 12×32.
- **Quaker** — Saltbox-style shed with asymmetrical offset roofline (NOT gambrel/barn-style). Roof ridge shifted forward, taller front wall, longer back roof slope, signature 16" front overhang. Inspired by colonial New England saltbox houses. Sizes 6×8 to 12×40.
- **Classic Quaker** — Premium Quaker with Miratec fascia/corners, gable overhangs, wider door trim, Classic vents. Same offset roofline. Sizes 6×8 to 12×40.
- **A-Frame Workshop / Classic A-Frame** — Traditional gable roof with steeper pitch for maximum peak headroom. Extra windows standard.
- **Dutch Barn** — Classic barn look with gambrel roof and wider double doors.
- **Hi-Wall Barn** — Gambrel roof with extra-tall 6'6" sidewalls.
- **Transom Dormer, Classic Gable Dormer** — Decorative dormer styles.

## Process (6 Steps)

## Construction Method

- **Fully Assembled:** All structures up to 14' wide are built complete at our shop and delivered as one piece. 14-wide requires a road permit and pilot car ($7.50/mi instead of $5/mi).
- **Modular:** Structures 20'+ wide (double-wide garages) are built in sections at our shop, then assembled on-site.
- **On-Site Roof Assembly:** Two-story models and Manor Garages — too tall for highway clearance — are delivered with the roof precut at our shop and assembled on-site by our crew.
- **On-Site Construction:** The Shed Mule fits through most gates, but the building it’s carrying must clear every fence, gate, and passage (need building width + 2'). If the building won't fit through, you can remove a fence section or go with an on-site build. The Mule also can't handle very steep hills or heavy mud. 30% surcharge for single-wide (6'–14' wide). Double-wide/two-story costs vary.

- Floor joists: 2×4 pressure-treated, 12–16" on center
- Flooring: ¾" plywood with smooth-sanded finish (LP ProStruct with SmartFinish available as upgrade)
- Wall framing: 2×4 studs, 16" on center
- Siding: LP SmartSide engineered wood or vinyl (customer's choice)
- Roofing: 30-year GAF or IKO architectural shingles (metal roof available)
- Radiant barrier: SilverTech included standard on every build
- Hardware: Heavy-duty galvanized hinges and door hardware
