Notes for the township
- Footer depth is built to the local frost line. If your township requires a different depth, we build to code.
- Anchors are installed by White Pine Structures when the building is placed, not by the concrete crew. Anchor length and spacing follow your township's code.
- Foundation size matches the building footprint. The exact size is on your estimate.
- Rough grading around the foundation is included. Finish grading and landscaping are not.
What townships usually ask for
- A plot plan showing where the building sits and the distance to property lines (setbacks)
- This foundation spec sheet
- The building drawing / size and height (we can send this with your estimate)
Good to know
You submit the permit to your township under your own name. The township charges its own permit fee. If your township asks for sealed or engineered drawings, those cost extra. Ask us and we'll tell you what's involved.
