Setback rules are set by your local municipality, not the county, so they vary town to town in Berks County. As a rule of thumb, most townships require a shed to sit 5–10 feet from side and rear property lines, with larger setbacks from the street. Yes. Your structure is built by our Amish craftsmen at our Parkesburg shop and delivered to Reading ready to use. How it arrives depends on two things — how wide it is, and how much room we have to get in. Buildings up to 14′ wide come fully assembled in one piece, and our Shed Mule sets them exactly where you want them. Buildings 16′ to 18′ wide are built on-site, right at your place. Buildings 20′ and wider (what we call modular) are built in finished sections at our shop — a 20′ to 28′ wide building is typically two halves — then trucked out and joined together on your pad by our own crew. And whatever the size, if there's no way to get a finished building back to the spot — a fenced yard, a tight gate, soft or steep ground — we can build almost any of our buildings on-site instead, right where it's going. We'll always walk the access path with you before delivery day.
