Man Cave Sheds

Your man cave — a backyard building that’s actually yours

A sports room, a gaming setup, a bar, a gym, a music room, or just a space where nobody moves your stuff. Built by Amish craftsmen with real materials — insulated, wired, and tough enough for however you use it. Not a kit, not a tent, not something that falls apart.

What will yours be?

Every man cave starts different. Here are the setups we build most.

Sports & movie room

Mount the big screen, run the sound system, and watch the game without negotiating the living room TV. Insulation keeps it comfortable and keeps the sound in.

Gaming room

Console, PC, VR — a dedicated setup that stays wired and ready. Nobody unplugs your rig to plug in the vacuum.

Bar & hangout

A bar top, a fridge, a few stools, and your own space to have friends over. The house stays clean and you set the rules.

Music room

Drums, amps, recording gear — all set up and ready to go. Insulation keeps the volume in and the complaints down.

Home gym

A heavy-duty floor that can take a squat rack, enough ceiling height for overhead press, and no waiting for equipment. Add a fan or mini-split and train year-round.

Office & side project

Not every man cave is about relaxing. Some are where the side business happens, the car gets researched, or the next build gets planned. A door you can close on the house.

What makes it more than a shed

Custom sizing

From a compact 10×12 to a full 14×48. We build to the exact footprint your yard allows — not a one-size kit that’s always either too small or too big.

Electrical rough-in

Pre-wired outlets, switches, and an exterior light placed where you want them. Your local licensed electrician connects it to your panel — ready for a TV, fridge, sound system, and lights.

Insulation & climate control

R-13 walls and R-30 ceiling with proper ventilation. Add a mini-split and you’ve got a four-season space — not a sweatbox in July and a freezer in January.

Built to last

Amish-built with LP SmartSide, pressure-treated framing, and architectural shingles. A 30–50+ year building, not a weekend project that’s falling apart in five.

A note on electrical

We pre-wire your man cave during the build — outlets, switches, and an exterior light, placed exactly where you want them. Your local licensed electrician then connects the panel to your home’s service. Electrical codes require a contractor licensed in the state where the building sits, and that’s always someone local to you. It’s one extra step, but it’s straightforward — most electricians can do it in a few hours.

Man cave questions, answered

How much does a man cave shed cost?

A basic model starts around $2,800. A well-equipped 12×16 or 12×20 with the electrical package, insulation, interior finish, and extra windows typically runs $7,000–$14,000 depending on options. Custom sizes and features are quoted individually.

Can you wire it for a TV, fridge, and sound system?

Yes. Our electrical rough-in package pre-wires outlets, switches, and an exterior light wherever you want them. Your local licensed electrician connects the panel to your home’s service. Plan enough circuits for everything you’re plugging in.

Can I insulate it and use it in winter?

Absolutely. R-13 wall and R-30 ceiling insulation with proper ventilation, then a mini-split heat pump for heating and cooling. It’s a four-season room at that point.

Can the floor handle a pool table or gym equipment?

Yes. Our standard floor is pressure-treated 4×6 skids, 2×6 joists at 12″ on center, and ¾″ AdvanTech subflooring. It handles pool tables, squat racks, and heavy furniture without flexing.

Do I need a permit?

Usually yes — especially with electrical and a finished interior, which most townships treat differently than basic storage. Requirements vary by municipality. We deal with permits across PA, NJ, MD, and DE every week.

Can I add a bathroom?

We’ve had customers add a half-bath, but plumbing is something you’d handle with a local plumber after delivery — we don’t do plumbing rough-in. It also adds significantly to the permit requirements.

Can I finance it?

Yes. We offer rent-to-own with no credit check and traditional financing. Monthly payments start around $89/mo for smaller structures.
